This 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 refurbished in 2020 with work involving repainting the exterior in green, re-trimming the interior in brown, and installing a 4.0-liter 3F inline-six and a five-speed manual transmission. The truck is equipped with a dual-range transfer case, 15″ black wheels, a four-corner coil spring and shock suspension, manually locking front hubs, a Warn winch, a black soft top, air conditioning, and a Pioneer head unit linked to aftermarket speakers.
The truck is finished in green and exterior details include a replacement black soft top in addition to a Warn winch, LED headlights, auxiliary lights, tow hooks, a diamond-plate rear step bumper, and a rear-mounted spare tire.
Black-finished 15″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires. The suspension was modified with four-corner coil springs and TJM XGS shocks as well as a steering stabilizer, and four-wheel disc brakes have been fitted. The truck is also equipped with manually locking front hubs and power steering.
The refreshed interior features front and rear bucket seats trimmed in brown with diamond-quilted inserts, while color-coordinated trim lines the dash pad, door panels, and shift boots. Equipment includes air conditioning, black floor mats, and a Pioneer head unit linked to aftermarket speakers. A secondary fuel tank is stored beneath the front passenger seat, and switches for the exterior accessories are mounted in the center of the dashboard.
The steering wheel frames a replacement instrument cluster with a 160-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and a combination gauge for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level.
The 4.0-liter 3F inline-six is said to have been sourced from a Land Cruiser FJ62 and installed and refreshed. It features a single carburetor and an aluminum radiator.
A five-speed manual transmission has been installed and sends power to the rear or all four wheels along with a dual-range transfer case. A Borla side-exit exhaust system has been added.
