This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was refurbished, has been fitted with an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, chromed Ford Racing valve covers, a bright intake assembly, an aftermarket carburetor, a revised exhaust system, and MSD ignition components. It wears a repaint in yellow over black and white vinyl, and additional equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a rear spoiler, power steering, 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels, a Kenwood cassette stereo, and air conditioning.
The car was finished from the factory in Glow Blue (3K) and was repainted approximately 14 years ago in Medium Bright Yellow (6E). Features include a front spoiler, a Mach 1 grille, a vented hood, dual side mirrors, a rear spoiler, Mach 1 graphics, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in black vinyl with white accents. Interior appointments include a Kenwood cassette stereo, a floor-mounted center console, and air conditioning.
The 351ci Windsor V8 is a replacement that was installed by previous owner, and it has been modified with an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, bright Ford Racing valve covers, a bright intake assembly, an aftermarket carburetor, an MSD distributor, and an MSD Blaster 2F ignition coil. An aftermarket exhaust system has also been installed, and an oil change was performed recently.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
