This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was the subject of a refurbishment and modifications in 2015, at which time it was repainted in Black Jade and fitted with a replacement 408ci stroker V8 linked to a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional modifications include an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, a COMP Cams camshaft, a Brawler carburetor, and MSD ignition components as well as a Hurst shifter, a headlight relay kit, Hedman Hedders exhaust headers, and Flowmaster mufflers. Black vinyl upholstery is accompanied by a center console, a blacked-out hood, front and rear spoilers, rear-window louvers, and quad exhaust outlets. This Mustang Mach 1 is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a partial build sheet, the owners manuals.
The car was refinished in 2016 in its factory shade of Black Jade with a blacked-out hood treatment and yellow-accented Mach 1 side stripes. Additional details include a hood scoop, front and rear spoilers, rear-window louvers, and quad exhaust outlets. The front spoiler, grille, bumpers, headlights, and headlight buckets were replaced during the refurbishment, and a headlight relay wiring kit was installed.
Black-accented 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the system was overhauled during the refurbishment. The upper and lower control arms, springs, and shocks were replaced, and the power steering equipment was removed.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl along with a coordinated center console, dash pad, and door panels. The factory air conditioning equipment was removed, and a Hurst T-handle shifter has been installed.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge along with auxiliary gauges.
The replacement 408ci stroker V8 was installed in 2016 and is equipped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads, a Brawler four-barrel carburetor, a COMP Cams camshaft, roller rocker arms, an MSD ignition control module, a single-wire alternator, a mini high-torque starter, and polished valve covers. Coated full-length Hedman Hedders exhaust headers feed into a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
