RED HOT 1967 Camaro RS Convertible with a four speed manual (Muncie) transmission and GM 350 crate engine! This beautiful first generation Camaro was on my bucket list for years. It is a true Rally Sport (RS). It was originally one of the 104 Indy 500 Pace Cars made in 1967 (as indicated by the ‘061A’ on the cowl tag). A previous owner replaced the original 327 and 2-speed power glide with the ZZ3 GM 350 crate engine with aluminum heads and 1 3/4″ Hedman long tube headers and the Muncie 4-speed. The car was painted red and converted the interior to the deluxe black interior setup. Other mechanical systems include power brakes, power steering, Dana 60 rear axle with 3.51:1 gear ratio, and drum brakes all around. Windows, locks, and the convertible top are all manual (the original power top motor is still in place but was disconnected by a previous owner and is assumed to be nonoperational). The car does not have air conditioning. There is a new RetroSound Bluetooth stereo with wireless mic for hands-free calling, a new powered under seat 8″ sub, new speakers in the kick panels (the kick panels are also new) and new 6×9 speakers in the rear. There is also a 4 channel amp powering the speakers. You will mostly love cruising to the sound of that 350 growling through the dual exhaust (complete with cherry bombs) but if you want to cruise to some tunes, this sound system will not disappoint you.
