This 1960 Ford Galaxie Starliner Club Victoria is finished in two-tone upholstery and powered by a 292ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering, 14″ steel wheels, an alternator, Flowmaster mufflers, and an AM radio. The car was refurbished and work included replacing the engine as well as overhauling the steering and brakes.
Originally delivered in Adriatic Green, the body was repainted in white. Features include horizontal tail fins, quad headlights, vent windows, and chrome bumpers and trim.
Steel 14″ wheels wear chrome covers and Hankook white-stripe tires that were mounted in 2019. Service also included replacing the power steering cylinder and power steering control valve, as well as the brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders.
The cabin features red and white bench seats, along with matching door panels and red carpets. Equipment includes silver trim, a heater, and an AM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and sits ahead of a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.
The replacement 292ci V8 was rebuilt and is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor. Work included installing an alternator in place of the generator as well as replacing the pistons, rings, camshaft, bearings, oil pump, fuel pump, and exhaust system. An Edelbrock electric fuel pump with a regulator was installed near the fuel tank and is controlled by a switch mounted under the dashboard.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a 9″ rear axle with 3.10:1 gears. The transmission was adjusted and resealed.
