Additions consist of LED overhead lighting, Vintage Air heat and air conditioning, and air vents integrated into the dashboard. A custom binnacle in the center of the dashboard houses a touchscreen Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth and a backup camera. The factory roof-mount radio has been rebuilt and is functional. The odometer was reset during the recent refresh, and it now shows just under 50 miles.
The factory 318ci “poly” V8 is fitted with a new Holley two-barrel carburetor, Pertonix electronic ignition, and a multi-core aluminum radiator. The engine has been rebuilt with a custom-ground solid camshaft. Power is sent through a Torqueflite 727 automatic transmission with a Lokar floor-mounted shifter. This Power Wagon utilizes a Dana 44 front differential and a Dana 60 rear end with a Sure-Grip differential. Both ends feature 4.10:1 gearing.
New components were installed during the recent refurbishment include U-joints, shocks, ball joints, a steering stabilizer, brakes, and the exhaust system, as well as a 35-gallon fuel tank.
